"IZOK" the "phenom" dog that the New England Siberian Husky mandarins all rave about was born in 1948, bred and owned by William Belletete. Izok was the result of breeding Ch. Wonalancet's Baldy of Alyeska back to the pure Seppala bitch DUCHESS OF COLD RIVER. Izok, who became the focus of Lorna B. Demidoff's developmental breeding for her MONADNOCK bloodline, was 81.25% Seppala in ancestry, 5/8 from the Harry Wheeler dogs SAPSUK OF SEPPALA, VANKA OF SEPPALA 2nd and SKY OF SEPPALA.
