Cat of Sepp-Alta, born 2 June 1989, was a main leader for SEPP-ALTA during most of the 1990s, a son of the renowned BEOWULF. Unlike BEOWULF, though, Cat "never produced anything nearly as good as he was," in the words of his breeder. Perhaps that may have been due to the unknown heritage of "Elvira," around whom unanswered questions have persistently hung. Elvira was allegedly sired by ULLER OF SEPP-ALTA (MARKOVO'S MARAQ x UELEN'S ALI), but rumour history has offered various other options given credence by Elvira's appearance and behaviour.
