Pedigree of: Ch. Marlytuk's Noonah

Ch. Marlytuk's Noonah was born in 1959 and illustrates the heavy influence of the Cold River stock in early Marlytuk breeding. Notice the strong inbreeding on SAPSUK OF SEPPALA and his sire TSERKO in this pedigree. Marguerite Grant did not continue to make this much use of the Cold River stock, in fact she used it rather poorly, moving quickly toward the Chinook Kennels and Monadnock bloodlines to produce acceptably cosmetic show dogs. By the worst of ill luck, the survival of the venerable Cold River bloodline fell into Peggy Grant's hands, and she dropped the ball.
