Pedigree of: Natomah's Kusketa

"KUSKETA" has a fair example of a Natomah pedigree, although the bloodline is more variable in that regard than many others. (Kusketa occurs in Doug Willett pedigrees through SMO-KI-LUK'S SERYA.) The unique-Seppala content is higher in Natomah than in the Seeley-based New England lines, but it is still a thoroughly mixed bloodline. The paternal grandsire GIBLET is a very high-percentage Seppala, as is NEVA OF SEPPALA (behind the maternal grandsire); Neva was from the last litter bred by McFaul involving Gatineau stock, just after the Wheeler purchase. IGLOO PAK'S TOTO TO shows the Lombard inbreeding bias, coming from a mating of Tok to his own dam. PUFF OF CALIVALI is another Tiger/Betsey progeny from mixed lineage. LEONARD OF PENN FOREST is the typical Bow Lake mixture of Seeley and Gatineau lines. At most, Kusketa might be considered about half Seppala lineage by ancestry -- but Natomah was another example of an established Racing Siberian Husky bloodline with its own vision and its own breeding plan that had no particular Seppala orientation.
